Michigan Bar Exam Appeals

The Michigan Bar Examination gets harder every year.  Add the fact that the Board of Law Examiners recently took away an applicant’s ability to pass with a score of 150 or higher on the Multistate Bar Exam, and the new standards are tougher than ever.

If you have recently taken the Michigan Bar Examination and received a score below 135, you have two options.  You can either spend another two months re-studying for an exam that is the culmination of seven years of hard work, hoping that you can convince the Bar Examiners the next time, or you can use the logical and critical thinking skills that you have spent your law school career honing.

If you decide on the latter course, time is of the essence.  You need to make hard decisions fast.  You need to order your bar exam essays.  You need to decide whether you want to spend your hard earned money on an Bar Exam Appeal, and whether you want to hire someone to do it.

At our firm, we understand that Bar Exam Appeals are a deeply personal and emotional experience.  We have helped candidates decide when to appeal and, just as importantly, have counseled against appeals.

While our firm is not a “Bar Exam Appeal” only firm like others, we believe that our litigation savvy and our strong Appellate background at the Michigan and other state Courts of Appeals make us uniquely suited to represent you in this process.

If you are interested in our opinion as to whether you should appeal your Michigan Bar Exam results, please call Scott Erskine at (248) 601-4499 to set up a free consultation.
